How often do you see brokers in a week?
I’m visiting brokers almost every day of the week; if I’m not seeing brokers I’m on the phone to them assisting with their queries.

What do brokers want most from you?
Brokers depend on reliability. Most of my brokers like the fact that I am always available to assist, whether it is for a simple scenario, or working through a tricky scenario.

What is your favourite part of the job?
Meeting new brokers and building relationships.

What distinguishes the best brokers you deal with?
The key characteristic is professionalism. These brokers are willing to do what’s best for the customer and work with me to get an application across the line.

Describe your ideal weekend
Family, fun and sport.

What’s the strangest lending scenario you’ve ever encountered?
I’ve had too many to think of. One of the funniest was when a broker contacted me with a client looking to purchase a unit, not knowing that I was in fact the owner of the unit. Needless to say I didn’t get the deal.

How do you like your steak done?
I like it cooked on the BBQ, medium rare - seasoned with salt, olive oil and oregano.
