BDM in the spotlight: Tamara Rozova

This week's ME BDM for NSW/ACT majored in Finance and Property Valuation during her studies in New Zealand.

ME Broker BDM for NSW/ACT, Tamara Rozova has spent four years in the industry and previously worked a number of banking roles with ME.  

BDM in the spotlight asks a different BDM the same seven questions – giving you a weekly insight into the lives of some of the top BDM’s in the country.

How often do you see brokers in a week?
Frequently, I see around 15 a week. I’m really keen to increase ME’s profile not only with key groups, but brokers in regional areas as well.   

What do brokers want most from you?
Timely, accurate responses based on solid internal contacts.

What is your favourite part of the job?
I love being out on the road seeing customers and learning more about their broker business. 

What distinguishes the best brokers you deal with?
Brokers passionate about their business and helping their clients. They have the ability to really listen and deliver the right products the first time.

Describe your ideal weekend?
A good sleep in, filling brekky and then a beach or a hot yoga session. 

What’s the strangest lending scenario you’ve ever encountered?  
A broker’s client that preferred to live in secluded places, and asked whether we would finance a small island in Queensland only accessible by a boat. 

How do you like your steak done?
I’m vegetarian.
