1. Aussie cut variable rate to 4.79%

A 5bps cut was enough to bring Aussie’s Select Basic Variable Rate to its lowest level ever. The rate is available for loans of up to $500,000 and maximum 80% LVR.
 

2. ANZ no val policy

The bank will not require a valuation for loans up to $1 million for LVR’s up to 80%, or for loans up to $750,000 with LVR’s up to 90%. Broker, client and real estate agent must be in the same state.
 

3. ING reduced commitment fee

Non-major lowers commitment fee to $500 for commercial loans approved by 31 December.


4. Heritage lowers qualification rate

From today the qualifying rate for borrowers is 7.40%, a 30bps drop from the previous level.
