CMBA reveals new Ontario board of directors

The Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association – Ontario (CMBA-ON) has revealed the new lineup of its board of directors.

Taylor Lewis steps into the role of president and chair, supported by vice president and secretary Michelle Campbell with Tyson Gobind serving as treasurer. Licensed directors on the board will be Leah Zlatkin, Frank Napolitano, Ann Pope, Doug Adlam, Deren Hasip, Shawn Stillman, and Chris Bargis.

“Each board member brings a wealth of expertise, experience, and insights. Their collective leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Association, ensuring that we stay true to our core values,” CMBA said in a statement accompanying the news.

Lewis currently serves as director, mortgage operations and strategic partnerships at CMI Canadian Mortgages Inc. His prior experience includes positions with Admore Financial Services, Inc., Paradigm Quest, Capital Lending Centre, Experis-Veritaaq, Veritaaq Technology House, and Home Trust Company.

Campbell is a 25-year veteran of the mortgage industry and currently serves as principal broker, chief executive officer and founder of Mortgage District, running her brokerage under the DLC Group.

Gobind is GoldTree Mortgage’s president and principal broker. His experience spanned roles in several firms such as Mortgage Intelligence, Dominion Lending Centres Inc., RE/MAX Realty Specialists Inc., Recap Investments Inc., and the Royal Bank of Canada. 

“We look forward to the positive impact this board will bring, and we are excited about the journey ahead,” CMBA said in its post.

CMBA is a non-profit organization for mortgage broker professionals which also provides education through courses such as underwriting, private mortgages, broking, and continuing education.
