Laura Scarlett Martin is a visionary entrepreneur and multi-award winning Broker with 15 years experience in Real Estate Finance with Matrix Mortgage Global (Matrix). After graduating with a MSc in Business Psychology, she stepped into the Chief Operating Officer role at Matrix in 2016 and led 150+ agents to become Canada's #1 Mortgage Brokerage with CEO Shawn Allen (4x Brokerage of the Year Award, CMAs 2017-2021).
She is the creator and co-host of the Broker's Playbook Podcast Series (1M+ views on Spotify, Apple, Facebook, and Clubhouse), a popular real estate and mortgage broker centred series that promotes learning and sales growth. Topics that Laura is particularly passionate about include positive psychology, equity lending, marketing strategies and creating intergenerational wealth through real estate.
Her contributions in thought leadership and business have produced a paradigm shift in the financial services industry, having been published over 40 times, including by national newspapers (The Globe and Mail) and is a regular contributor to Canadian Real Estate Wealth Magazine. Laura will be doing a special presentation at the 2022 Broker Exchange Conference in Australia.
