Fannie Mae taps new chief human resources officer

Fannie Mae has welcomed Katie Jones (pictured) as its new senior vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective August 01.

In the role, Jones will head all aspects of Fannie Mae’s human resources function and strategy. She will also serve as a member of Fannie Mae’s Management Committee and partner with others across the enterprise, including the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI).

Before joining Fannie, Jones held a similar position at global financial services firm PRA Group. Jones’ 30-year career also includes time spent at major banks, including SunTrust Bank, AIG, and Crestar Bank.
