Docutech announces CEO change

Docutech has appointed Amy Brandt as its new CEO to replace founder Ty Jenkins.

Brandt was most recently president and COO of the company. She will continue to serve as president. Meanwhile, Jenkins will now serve as chairman.

In her new role, Brandt will lead initiatives including adding new products, entering new market segments, and seeking strategic acquisitions. She was selected for the role by an advisory board formed as part of an ownership structure established following an investment by San Francisco-based PE firm Serent Capital in 2016.

Brandt brings more than 20 years of experience to the CEO post. Before she joined the company last spring, Brandt served at New Penn Financial. As the company’s president of originations and corporate technology, she oversaw all origination channels, including direct-to-consumer products, third-party originations, and retail. Earlier in her career, Brandt served as COO of Prospect Mortgage.

In addition to her executive career, Brandt was a federal housing policy council member with the Financial Services Roundtable.
