Ex-Keller Williams CEO to head loanDepot’s mello Home

Chris Heller is joining loanDepot to head the recently launched mello Home business, the company’s parent LD Holdings Group has announced.

An effort to expand the company’s mortgage and personal-loan business, mello Home connects homebuyers who have been pre-approved by its loan consultants to local real estate agents as they begin shopping for a home.

Heller was president of the worldwide division of Keller Williams and later held the role of CEO from 2010 to 2017. Under Heller’s leadership, the real estate brokerage grew to be the largest by agent count, homes sold, and sales volume with its 177,000 agents and 930 offices.
