Open Mortgage expands in three states

Open Mortgage has branched out in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri to build up its presence in the region.

The multi-channel lender hired seasoned industry leader Sherry Sherrell to lead the opening of a new branch in Fayetteville, Ark., as regional branch manager. Additionally, Sherrell will oversee the company's branches located in Rogers, Ark., Grove, Okla., and Joplin, Mo.

“With Sherry leading the charge, Open Mortgage will be better positioned to execute on the substantial opportunities in the area and further strengthen our ties to the community in those states," said Scott Gordon, founder and CEO of Open Mortgage. "Sherry’s unmatched abilities in client relations, financial data analysis, and underwriting make her ideal in directing our growing influence in the area."

Gordon also said that Sherrell's two decades of leadership and mortgage experience would be vital in empowering homeowners in the region.

Before Open Mortgage, Sherrell worked as a branch manager at various mortgage companies, including Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, USA Mortgage, and Financial Concepts Mortgage.
