New American Funding President Patty Arvielo was chosen by the Los Angeles Times Multicultural Business Forum as one of their panelists this week, according to a news release.

“I feel honored to share my perspective in a manner intended to benefit other businesswomen,” said Arvielo. “Unity among women is paramount to our success.”

As president and co-founder of New American Funding, Arvielo handles sales, operations of their headquarters and branches and 2,400 employees.  She has been an honoree on MPA’s Elite Women and Hot 100 lists, and has been recognized by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year of Orange County, and the LA Times Latinos de Hoy’s 2016 Business Award winner.

“I’m grateful to be in a position where I can inspire and educate other career women,” she said. “The harder I work, the more of my dreams come true.”

Arvielo spoke before the Women in Business Forum Wednesday.

In January, her husband Rick, CEO and co-founder of NAF, was named chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association Political Action Committee to lead industry advocacy efforts within the political system.
