Realtor announces new part-owner
Century 21 New Zealand has announced that previous owner Derryn Mayne has left the realtor, selling 25% of the business.
Charles Tarbey, the chairman of Century 21 Australasia, thanked Mayne for her contribution to the realtor since joining as a partner in 2019.
“I thank Derryn for her leadership and commitment over the last two years to manage and grow the C21 business in New Zealand,” Tarbey said.
“Derryn has made a significant contribution and will maintain involvement with the brand by focusing on her own Century 21 office in Manurewa, Auckland.”

Century 21 New Zealand has appointed Tim Kearins as the new part-owner, effective from July 30, 2021.
As the principal of Century 21 Premier in Manawatu, Kearins led a team servicing Palmerston North and surrounding areas. He has extensive industry experience and a wealth of knowledge that has helped him achieve many accolades over his time with Century 21, including consistently receiving the Top Principal award and achieving Centurion status.
Kearins commented: “I am proud to be joining the NZ arm of the business as a part-owner. Century 21 is one of the most respected names in the industry, and I look forward to growing the network in more locations across the country and continuing to support our franchises, vendors, buyers, landlords, and tenants.”
Tarbey welcomed Kearins to the team, adding: “We are excited to have Tim join us as a partner of the C21 NZ business. Tim has an intimate understanding of our culture and operations, across both sales and property management, and I am confident that under the new ownership structure, the brand will continue to grow in strength.”
As part of the leadership change, the Century 21 headquarters will move to Manawatu, described as a fitting location that will provide a strong and centrally located representation of what is happening across New Zealand.
